The Hotel @ New York City -161 Lexington Avenue is a well-maintained building, however normal wear and tear through the years has led to escalating energy consumption. Major challenges for the 161 Lexington included:

  • Deteriorating equipment, operating past its useful life.

  • 90 HP low pressure steam boiler, using No. 2 fuel oil, running long past its useful life.
